Blossom Tree Hand Embroidery Pattern - PDF Instant Download
Bring the beauty of springtime into your home with this increasingly popular Cherry Blossom Tree Embroidery pattern. A beginner friendly pattern that guides you through the process easily, even if you have never picked up a needle before.
The embroidery is designed to fit in an 8" hoop (20cm), but would also make a lovely cushion, bag or quilt panel.
The PDF Digital Downloadable Pattern includes 3 suggested stitches to use on the tree, making it suitable for beginners, complete with instructions.
I would suggest using 3 shades of brown embroidery thread of your choice, plus 1 shade of pink, but you could use up to 3 pinks if you prefer. (I used DMC)
The hand embroidery stitches are simple to follow and the pattern allows for your own creativity, embracing the light and shade of the bark on the tree by varying the brown shades of thread.

12” Square piece of Pre-washed Linen/Cotton
3 shades of brown embroidery thread
1 shade of pink embroidery thread
Embroidery Crewel needle size 6 or 7
8” Embroidery Hoop
The printed template
4 Colours of DMC Embroidery Thread (3 shades of brown and 1 pink)
Scissors
Water soluble pen or Heat Erasable Pen
Lightbox or window (to trace your design)
Ribbon (optional)
Applique & Free Motion Version you will also need:
Brown cotton fabric
Bondaweb
Iron
