Ballerina Hand Embroidery Pattern - PDF Instant Download
Bring serenity and beauty to your embroidery time, with this sweet ballerina embroidery pattern. The ballerina was hand illustrated by me, inspired by my love of Ballet Class as a child and all of the wonderful years I spent at competition level on stage. I wanted to make sure her 'Port de bras' (carriage of her arms) felt as graceful and light as I remember feeling during my favourite performances.
This PDF download, has been designed with care to suit both beginners and the more experienced embroiderer. It comes with stitch suggestions, with instructions and a colour guide - I used DMC for mine, but you can choose your own shades and preferred thread. I don't give you the exact numbers, as I encourage you to use what supplies you already have first, before purchasing new.
The pattern not only gives you some practical tips on hand embroidery, which customers say are easy to follow, but also describes how you could make it into a little cushion, making it perfect nursery decor or childs room decor, but it could be framed, used as a quilting panel or stitched onto clothing too!
You could also experiment with the design and use applique if you prefer, or maybe free-motion embroidery - or even a mix of all 3!
A perfect, stress free project, for you to lose yourself in the rhythmic motion of the needle, that you can keep for yourself, or gift to someone you love.
You will receive:
1 A4 sized printable file with 6 pages, for you to print at home and use again and again.

8” piece of Pre-washed Linen or cotton fabric

1 Embroidery Needle
4 inch Embroidery Hoop
Water Soluble or Heat Erasable Pen
6 Colours of DMC Embroidery Thread of your choice
(I used a Dark Pink, Medium Pink, Light Pink, Medium Brown, Light Brown and Medium Green)
Scissors
